Scripture: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way. – Psalm 37:23, NKJV
Today’s Word
We’re grateful that God is directing our steps, but the truth is that God is ordering our steps according to His purpose. God will put us into situations and times of testing and times of waiting that we can’t get out of. He also orders our steps into seasons of favor and seasons of sudden increase. You may be in a waiting period. You’ve been doing the right thing for a long time, being patient, keeping a good attitude. God is saying, “Your about to see a suddenly.
You’re going to come into a season of growth and abundant fruit.” He’s going to put you at the right place at the right time and thrust you to a new level. Because He orders your steps, it’s not random. He’s precise. He’s detailed. What you’re believing for may be taking longer than you thought. Quit being frustrated because it’s not happening as fast as you would like. You’re right on schedule, your steps are being ordered. It’s just a matter of time before you see what God has been doing behind the scenes.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You purposefully order my steps in the way that is best for me. Thank You for Your strength in the testing times and the expectancy that at any moment You can turn things around into a new season of abundance. Whether You do it gradually or suddenly, I will rest in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Inspirational Message: Victory starts in your mind. You can’t think weak and be powerful. You can’t think limited and be strong. You can’t think fear and have courage. Is your thinking keeping you from being very powerful? Are wrong mindsets stopping the strength, the favor, the victory that belongs to you? Start thinking power thoughts. “I am strong. I am well able. I am confident. I am favored. This challenge cannot hold me back. I am full of resurrection power. I can run through a troop and leap over a wall. If God be for me, who dare be against me?” Be inspired by this message from Joel, “You Are Very Powerful”.
If you’re going to tap into this power, you have to think power thoughts. Inflation may be high, the stock market shaky, banks having trouble. You could be worried, but instead, “God, I thank You that You’re Jehovah Jireh, the Lord, my provider. You said even in famine, I would have more than enough. You said my cup will run over, that I will lend and not borrow.” The medical report may not look good.
Experts say you’re not going to get well. “God, You said You would restore health unto me. You said I will live and not die, with long life You will satisfy me.” Maybe your children are off course. It doesn’t look like they’ll ever change. “God, You said my children will be mighty in the land. You said from generation to generation we will tell of Your goodness.” Learn to think power thoughts. That’s how you activate His power.
